The Acorn

A jar for the long term storage of memories, a reflection on inheritance, a space to document the process of becoming.

Porcelain, red iron oxide, minor heart murmur, trilobite fossil, teeth (and everything they’ve ever chewed), soda ash, 20 mg of prozac (taken once daily by mouth), penny minted in 1927, rosh hoshana blessing, cobalt oxide, omega watch my grandfather gave my dad for his 16th birthday, korsakov’s scherazade, manganese dioxide.
