An extremely special commission for a close friend of mine, this memory vessel contains memories from her childhood growing up in Senoia, Georgia. The surface of this piece depicts Saint Lucy, patron saint of the blind, gazing over her hometown while pouring water which becomes the source of a Blue Ridge Mountain waterfall. Layered strata underfoot preserve her cowboy boots, a tiara she’s wearing in a photo with her grandmother, and her favorite quilt.
